Fockedey 2030 project
From the 90s until 2015, Fockedey transport has continued to develop a professional, competent organization capable of meeting customer demands.
This development has been accompanied by investments in many areas: trucks, tanks, the implementation of an efficient computer system but also by adapting to the various ISO 9001, SQAS, etc. standards.
In 2015, the management of the company decided to create another axis of development: The Fockedey 2030 project
This project involves converting the energy used to run our trucks.
The goal is for our fleet to be made up of 40% vehicles running on alternative fuels.
To start, we needed a measuring instrument. After a market study, we became interested in the Lean and Green label developed by Logistics in Wallonia.
From 2015 to 2018 we structured all the information flows in order to be able to calculate the CO² emissions per ton kilometer.
