Fockedey transport has decided to act in the face of the environmental impact of its activity by opting for the production of green energy from wind turbines and solar panels.

Thus was born the Wind to Trucks project, the fruit of the association of Fockedey transport, Luminus and Ideta.

This project aims to produce hydrogen through electrolysis to supply our fleet of hydrogen trucks by 2026.

The wind turbines installed in the industrial zone of Leuze-en-Hainaut coupled with the new solar panel park will ensure optimal hydrogen production even if the weather is less favorable for the generation of wind energy.

This innovative project will drastically reduce the environmental impact of Fockedey transport by avoiding drawing electricity from the network.

The excess energy produced will obviously be redistributed to avoid any waste.
